What is The 64% Roulette System

Last updated: 05.04.2024 by Andrew Shepard

As the name suggests, 64% roulette systems give you a 64% chance to win a roulette spin. This roulette strategy isn’t very known to beginner players, but pretty much all experienced roulette players are familiar with it.

For this reason, we decided to create this guide to explain the 64% system to all roulette players and see how it works in the long run.

How to Run The 64% Strategy

The 64% roulette system is an easy-to-understand strategy. Even though this system requires you to place multiple bets on the roulette table, we will help you learn this strategy’s game plan with a few easy steps.

  • Place 1 unit bet to any two Dozens
  • When you lose a spin, the system requires you to move forward to the next progressive row. The progressive rows are: 1-1, 3-3, 9-9, 27-27, etc. As you may already understand, the 64% strategy is based on the number 3.
  • Now, if you win a spin, you have to go back to the first betting amount of 1 unit.

With the 64% roulette system, you place wagers on 2 of the 3 dozens. This means that in European roulette, you cover 24 out of 37 spots. The result of these bets is that you have a 64,8% possibility to win a round and a 35,2% chance to lose it. Let’s now see how the 64% system performs in 5 virtual spins.

64% System Works
  • Round 1

We place £1 each on two of the dozens. Unfortunately, we lose the first spin.

  • Round 2

Due to the progressive system of this strategy, we now have to wager £3 each on two dozens. We lost again.

  • Round 3

In the 3rd spin, we have to now stake £9 on two of the three dozens. Unfortunately, we didn’t win this spin either.

  • Round 4

For the spin number 4, we now place £27 each on two dozens. For the first time in this test, we won a spin.

  • Round 5

As we said earlier, when we win a spin, we have to go back to our initial bet amount. This means that in round 5, we stake £1 each on two dozens.

How 64% System Performs in Tests

If you have read several reviews of roulette strategies from us, you should know what will follow. It is time to test the 64% roulette system in a simulation of 1000 spins. We set the chances of winning of every spin in 64,8%, and we also add the progression system for every loss to the simulation.

This means that whenever our players lose a spin, they will have to increase their bet using the progressive system we explained above. On the other hand, when they win a spin, they will have to reset the bet amount back to 1 unit.

For the purposes of this test, we put in the simulation three different players. Every one of the three players will start the simulation with a starting balance of £1000.

Let’s now see how the 64% roulette strategy performed within our simulation test. Starting with the results of the first player:

64% System to the Test 3

The results of the first player show massive peaks in both bet amounts and bankroll. To be more precise, player 1’s session would have ended on the 478th spin due to a very big losing streak. This means that player number 1 wouldn’t have any more money to increase the betting amounts according to the progressive system.

Let’s now see what happened with player 2:

64% System to the Test 2

Despite how the graph may look, player 2 also lost all of his bankroll during the session. In fact, in the 315th spin, player 2 wouldn’t have any more money to continue betting. Let’s see the player’s 3 results:

64% System to the Test

Well, player number 3 was the luckiest player of all. Player 3 managed to end his roulette session with a profit of £657. As we saw the results of all 3 players, let’s now discuss a bit more about the disadvantages of the 64% roulette system.

Drawbacks of the 64% Strategy

Let’s start with the Martingale system. When we reviewed the Martingale system, we found out that a series of consecutive losses could result in the inability of the player to handle the required betting amount.

In fact, during our tests on the Martingale system, we found out that with a starting balance of £1000, a player would lose all of his money after ten consecutive losses. Of course, the probability of this outcome is 0.1275% if the player sits in a European roulette table.

When it comes to today’s roulette strategy, the 64% system is very similar to the Martingale system. However, during our tests today, we figured out that in the 64% system, players will lose all of their money after only six consecutive losses. The chance of this to happen is 0.18% which means that the 64% system is riskier than the Martingale system.

Wrap Up

The 64% roulette system is a very easy-to-learn strategy where you bet units on two of the three dozens. The only thing you have to do after that is to adjust the betting amounts depending on the outcome of the spin.

During our simulation tests, we saw that 2 out of 3 players lost all of their money during their 1000 spins session. Of course, one of our players managed to finish his session with a profit.

Summing up, the 64% system can be profitable, but only high-roller players who won’t have a problem after a few consecutive losses. The 64% roulette system is a very risky strategy when it comes to small bankrolls.
